View Candidate Status in Review and Interview Stages

Review and Interview stages provide visibility into where candidates are in your hiring process and whether required feedback or interviews have been completed.

You can monitor the status of each candidate directly from the hiring pipeline to identify outstanding reviews, completed evaluations, and upcoming interviews.

Review Stage Statuses

When a candidate enters a Review stage, Trakstar Hire displays a status indicator to help you track reviewer progress.

Depending on your hiring workflow, you may see statuses that indicate:

  • Reviews have not yet started.
  • One or more reviewers have submitted feedback.
  • All required reviews have been completed.
  • Additional reviewer responses are still pending.

These indicators help hiring teams quickly identify candidates who are waiting on reviewer feedback before moving to the next stage.

Interview Stage Statuses

Candidates in an Interview stage display information about scheduled interviews and interviewer feedback.

You can use these status indicators to determine whether:

  • An interview has been scheduled.
  • The interview is upcoming.
  • The interview has been completed.
  • Interview feedback has been submitted.
  • Additional interviewer feedback is still outstanding.

Monitoring interview statuses helps ensure candidates continue moving through the hiring process without unnecessary delays.

  • Keep the hiring process moving efficiently.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why hasn't my candidate moved to the next stage?

Moving to the next stage is a manual action unless your organization has configured an automated workflow. Even if all reviews or interviews are complete, a user with the appropriate permissions must move the candidate forward.

Can I see which reviewer hasn't responded?

Yes. Open the candidate's profile to review the assigned reviewers and determine which evaluations are still pending.

Do candidates see these statuses?

No. Review and Interview status indicators are internal tools for your hiring team and are not visible to candidates.

Best Practices

  • Check Review and Interview stages regularly to identify pending evaluations.
  • Follow up with reviewers when feedback is overdue.
  • Confirm all required reviews and interview feedback have been submitted before advancing candidates.
  • Use status indicators to prioritize candidates who are ready for the next stage.
  • Encourage interviewers to complete evaluations promptly to avoid delays in the hiring process.
