Not sure how you'll be involved in the hiring process? Contact your HR team or manager to learn more about your role in recruiting.
Submit a Candidate Review
When another member of your hiring team requests a candidate review, you'll receive an email notification.
The email includes information such as:
- The candidate's name
- The job opening
- The candidate's current hiring stage
- The name of the person requesting your review
- An optional note from the requester
To submit your review:
- Open the email notification.
- Select View Candidate Profile.
- A new browser window opens with a simplified version of the candidate's profile.
- Use the review panel in the lower-right corner of the page to:
- Rate the candidate.
- Enter your feedback.
- Select Submit Feedback.

Your feedback is saved to the candidate's profile, and the person who requested the review is notified that your feedback has been submitted.
Submit Interview Feedback
The interview feedback process is similar to submitting a candidate review, with a few additional features.
After you're invited to an interview:
- Open the interview invitation email.
- Add the interview to your calendar if desired.
- Select the link to the candidate's profile.
Note: Because interview feedback is time-sensitive, the link in the invitation remains valid for 14 days.
When the candidate profile opens:
- Review the candidate's information using the simplified profile.
- If needed, navigate to the candidate's full profile in Trakstar Hire.
- When you're ready to provide feedback, select Submit Evaluation on the right side of the page.
- Complete the evaluation form.
If your organization has configured a custom evaluation form, you'll be prompted to answer additional questions specific to the interview. Custom evaluation forms can be used for both candidate reviews and interviews.
Tip: Keep the evaluation form open during the interview so you can capture notes as the conversation takes place.
When you've finished your evaluation, select Submit Evaluation to save your responses. Your feedback is added to the candidate's profile for the hiring team to review.
