Workflow: How to Connect Trakstar Hire and Trakstar Perform

The Trakstar Hire and Trakstar Perform integration allows you to move hired candidates directly into Trakstar Perform, making it easier to transition employees from recruiting into performance management.

What the Integration Does

Once the integration is connected, candidates marked as Hired in Trakstar Hire can be added directly to Trakstar Perform without manually recreating employee records.

Before You Begin

To complete the setup, you'll need access to:

A Trakstar Perform Admin account
A Trakstar Hire Super Admin account

If these permissions belong to different people, both administrators should be available during the setup process.

Generate an Integration Key in Trakstar Perform

Sign in to Trakstar Perform as an administrator.
Navigate to Settings → Company → Advanced Features.
Select Generate Integration Key.
Copy the generated integration key. You'll use this key when connecting Trakstar Hire.

Connect Trakstar Hire to Trakstar Perform

Sign in to Trakstar Hire as a Super Admin.
Navigate to Settings → Advanced Settings → Apps & Integrations.
Select Trakstar Perform.
Click Connect to Trakstar Perform.
Paste the integration key generated from Trakstar Perform.
Save the connection to link the two accounts.

Add a Hired Candidate to Trakstar Perform

After the integration has been configured:

Mark the candidate as Hired in Trakstar Hire.
Open the candidate's profile.
Click Add to Trakstar Perform.
Complete any required information in the pop-up window.
Click Add to Trakstar Perform again to send the candidate to Trakstar Perform.

Important

The values entered in the First Name and Last Name fields are used to create the employee's username in Trakstar Perform. Review this information before submitting the employee record.
