Refreshing your job openings to the job boards

Once an opening has been posted for more than 30 days, it can lose visibility on job boards like Indeed, LinkedIn, etc. We have an option for you to refresh these openings!

For any opening in which you are still hiring, please click "Advertise job":

And then click to the "Free" tab where you will see the option to "Refresh" if the posting is older than 30 days:

Refreshing the job opening pulls it to the top of the job board's feed, but it will maintain the original post date. So if you published the job in Hire in December 2023 and then refreshed it in Trakstar today, you'll see the job on the top of Indeed's feed, but the original post date of December will be visible.

If you archive the job, and then create a fresh/new job in Hire, it will have a fresh date "posted" date.

In other words, whether you repost/refresh an old job in Hire or whether you create a brand new job in Hire, both go to the top of Indeed's job feed. The only difference is the "date posted" date that appears on Indeed's page.
