Accepting Your Invite and Activating Your Account
When you are added as a user in Trakstar Hire, you will receive an email invitation to activate your account. Activating your account allows you to access the platform and begin collaborating with your team.
Before You Begin
Before activating your account, ensure that:
- You have received your invitation email from Trakstar Hire.
- You can access the email address where the invitation was sent.
- The invitation has not expired.
If you cannot find the invitation email, check your spam, junk, or filtered folders before requesting a new invitation.
Activate Your Account
To activate your account:
- Open the invitation email sent by Trakstar Hire.
- Click Activate Account.
- You will be directed to the account activation page.
- Create and confirm your password.
- Complete any additional setup steps presented during activation.
- Click Activate Account or Submit to finish the process.
After activation is complete, you will be automatically logged in or redirected to the login page, depending on your organization's setup.

Sign In to Your Account
Once your account has been activated:
- Navigate to your organization's Trakstar Hire login page.
- Enter your email address.
- Enter the password you created during activation.
- Click Sign In.
You should now have access to the areas of Trakstar Hire assigned to your user account.
Troubleshooting Activation Issues
Invitation Link Has Expired
For security purposes, invitation links may expire after a period of time.
If your activation link is no longer valid:
- Contact your organization's Trakstar Hire administrator.
- Request that a new invitation be sent.
- Open the new invitation email and repeat the activation process.
Did Not Receive the Invitation Email
If you have not received your invitation:
- Check your spam, junk, clutter, and promotions folders.
- Confirm that the invitation was sent to the correct email address.
- Ask your administrator to resend the invitation.
- Add Trakstar Hire email addresses to your safe sender list if necessary.
Unable to Activate Your Account
If you encounter an error while activating your account:
- Verify that you are using the most recent invitation email.
- Ensure that the activation link has not already been used.
- Try opening the link in a different browser.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies if needed.
- Contact your administrator or Trakstar Hire support for additional assistance.
