Adding the Job Relevance Score to Candidates

With the Job Relevance score you can rank candidates as you screen them, and then filter and sort based on their job relevance score - or - how good of a fit they'd be for that particular role.  This is a handy way to know who stood out as you continue past screening.

Since Job relevance scores are visible to every user who has access to the candidate's profile, it's also a helpful way to communicate star candidates to other people down the hiring process!

You can find the job relevance tool on the candidate list, inside of the candidate's profile, and in your candidate filter options.  We'll go over each of these below!

Managing the score from the candidate list:

While on the candidate list, you're able to see the score of each candidate.  If the candidate doesn't yet have a score, this area will be blank.  In the example below, Bill Gates has a score, but Tom Hanks does not.

You can set and change the score in bulk, or for a single candidate from the candidate list.  To do so, click the check box beside the candidate(s), and then click on the "Job Relevance" button:

You'll then pick the job relevance score you'd like to select for this candidate, and then click confirm.

As a note - when you edit an existing score, you do override the score that was there previously - even if it was made by another user.  We keep a record of all scores inside of the candidate's "Comment" section.

Managing the score inside of the candidate's profile

You can also see the Job Relevance score inside of the candidate's profile:

Hovering your mouse over a different star ranking allows you to change the score up:

Or change the score down:

As a note - when you edit an existing score, you do override the score that was there previously - even if it was made by another user.  We keep a record of all scores inside of the candidate's "Comment" section.

You are also able to sort and filter candidates by their score

The quickest way to look at candidates by score is by the Job Relevance sort option inside the candidate list.  Click on this option from the right hand side of the candidate list to quickly sort the candidates based on their score:

You can also filter your list, to only see candidates with a particular score. This is a handy way to to find your exceptional people to move along to your next stage, or perhaps your below average candidates, to reject.

To build this filter, click on the "Add Filter" button on the left hand side of your "Candidates" page:

From here, select the "Job Relevance" filter:

And then pick which score(s) you'd like to see - Note - you can pick more than one!

Can I reset a candidate's score?

If you'd like to remove the candidate's job relevance score from their profile, click on their current score - so if a candidate has a five star rating, click on their fifth star.

You'll then be prompted if you'd like to clear their job relevance score.  Click delete, and their stars will be removed.  Their job relevance ratings will still be tracked in the comments section of their candidate profile, so you can view the history.
