Integration: Enable Slack Notifications for Trakstar Hire

Receive Trakstar Hire notifications directly in Slack to stay informed about candidate activity without leaving your workspace.

Once the integration is enabled, eligible notifications are delivered to users in Slack, helping recruiting teams respond more quickly to hiring activity.

Notification Types

After the integration is configured, users receive Slack notifications for the following events:

A candidate is added to a stage you're assigned to.
Another user mentions you in a comment on a candidate profile.
Another user includes you as an interviewer.
Another user requests your review of a candidate.

Before You Begin

To enable Slack notifications, you'll need:

A Super Admin account in Trakstar Hire.
Administrative access to your organization's Slack workspace.

Note: The email address associated with your Trakstar Hire account must match the email address used for your Slack account in order for notifications to be delivered correctly.

Connect Slack to Trakstar Hire

In Trakstar Hire, navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings > Apps & Integrations.
Scroll to the Slack integration.
Select Slack.
Click Add to Slack.
When prompted, sign in to your Slack workspace (if necessary).
Review the requested permissions and authorize the integration.

After authorization is complete, Slack notifications are enabled for your Trakstar Hire account.

How the Integration Works

Once connected:

Eligible Trakstar Hire notifications are delivered directly to users in Slack.
Notifications help keep hiring teams informed about candidate progress, interview activity, mentions, and review requests.
The integration uses your matching Trakstar Hire and Slack email addresses to route notifications to the correct user.

Troubleshooting

If you are not receiving Slack notifications:

Verify that your Trakstar Hire email address matches your Slack email address.
Confirm that the Slack integration has been authorized by a Super Admin.
Ensure the Slack app has not been removed from your workspace.
